Starting out as a group, Steely Dan evolved into a studio project spearheaded by Walter Becker and Donald Fagen. Steely Dan faunted a cool, complex sound personifying the 70's Los Angeles & New York over seven albums. Steely Dan's best-selling album was 1977'sAja, which wascertifed platinum. Three years later, they releasedGaucho which would be their last until 1995.

This professionally remastered broadcast of their Riverport Amphitheater show in Maryland Heights, Missouri from September 1st, documents their critically acclaimed return tour.
