 Imogen Ryall’s second album for Rubicon Jazz is a collection of eleven original songs and is, in the words of Claire Martin OBE, “absolutely magical….a gem of a recording.”
 Imogen is joined by pianist and composer Emil Viklický, saxophonist Julian Nicholas, bassist Petr Dvorsky and drummer Eric Ford.
 The compositions range from the intimate folktinged ‘Gone with Water’ to the dark and mischievous groove of ‘Conjourology’. Each song demonstrates the wonderful interplay between singer and the musicians which is never forced and feels totally organic.
 Imogen’s first album for Rubicon Jazz, ‘Imogen Ryall sings the Charles Mingus/Joni Mitchell Songbook’, was critically acclaimed. Jazzwise said “You might have thought it impossible to cover ‘The Wolf that Lives on Lindsay’, but the version heard here announces itself as one of the great Mitchell covers.”
