The second part of Mu, the second part of the free jazz project that Don Cherry recorded with percussionist Ed Blackwell in August 1969. Released in 1970, the year after the first half came out, Mu Second Part finds Cherry processing a truly global range of influences and filtering them through his free jazz aesthetic to deliver a sonic compound that presaged world music.
