 ‘Lost At Sea’ is the latest / third solo release from US singer / songwriter, Chris Shiflett – longstanding Foo Fighters guitarist, punk rock stalwart, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, podcaster and modern-day guitar hero. Named “Americana’s biggest rockstar” by Rolling Stone, Shiflett successfully balances his full-band projects with a thriving solo career, playing a crucial role in shaping the sound and the scope of contemporary rock For ‘Lost At Sea’, his first outing with Snakefarm UK, the 11 tracks were largely recorded in Nashville with the help of producer / collaborator Jaren Johnston – frontman of The Cadillac Three, as well as the songwriter behind nearly a dozen Number 1 country hits.
 Says Shiflett: “We made a guitar-centric record that encapsulates everything I've been listening to over the years, from the most country songs I've ever recorded right through to punk rock. There’s even songs that sound like a California version of The Clash!”
 Caught halfway between the honky-tonk saloon and the punk rock dive bar, ‘Lost At Sea’ is both eclectic and electric, making room for alt-country crunch, guitar-driven grit and sharp songwriting. Tying that mix together is Shiflett himself, a musical Renaissance Man whose influences are every bit as wide-ranging as his resumé.
 The new album also features a stellar cast of Americana all-stars, including fellow guitar-slingers Charlie Worsham, Tom Bukovac and Nathan Keeterle, plus several co-writers, the likes of Kendell Marvel and Cody Jinks, ensuring that the storylines here pack as hefty a punch as the music itself.
 Recently, Shiflett launched a new podcast, ‘Shred With Shifty’, which sees him both speaking to and playing with many of the biggest names in the guitar world (Rush’s Alex Lifeson, Nile Rodgers, etc.), delving into their most iconic solos.
