This collector’s release contains Buddy Holly’s magnificent but lesser known third album, ‘That’ll Be the Day’, originally released by the Decca label in 1958. This CD contains 11 songs which were recorded in 1956 (including the original and slower version of the title track), before Holly signed with the Brunswick label.

In addition to the original masterpiece, this remastered release also contains 10 bonus tracks, among them the 1957 version of “That’ll Be the Day,” as well as hard to find recordings from the same period of rock & roll’s finest and most joyful pioneers, the legendary Buddy Holly.
