Billy Reeves got his start in music as primary songwriter and guitarist of Sophie Ellis Bextor's band theaudience in the 90s, but retrained as a journalist following a near fatal car crash in 2001. He solidifed his well-deserved place in music with Nostalgia of the Future in 2023 and Steve in early 2024.

Both of Billy Reeve's albums charted top 10 in the Scottish Album Charts.
