Even though Beatservice Records have released numerous remixes on various singles and EPs, a remix-compilation has never been released. Until now.

"BSRMX01" is a compilation of remixes from the last few years, with three new and exclusive remixes. The compilation is trying to balance between picking the best standalone remixes, and making it all work as a whole album. The label boss Vidar Hanssen also gave himself some limitations: only one track per artist, and only one remix per remixer. Being a label focusing on Norwegian electronic music, all of the artists are Norwegians. Most of the remixers are Norwegian fellow artists too, like Doc L Junior (Full Pupp, Music For Freaks) and De Fantastiske To (Paper, Black Riot). But also international guys like Manchester's Chris Massey (Sprechen) and german DJ duo Marcapasos & Janosh (Dusted Decks), and UK producer, now living in Oslo, Pete Hurst aka SLOTH UK.
