For the first time ever, The Tragically Hip’s best-selling ‘Yer Favourites’ compilation is set for vinyl release on June 2nd, 2023. The compilation was originally released as a 2 CD set and digitally on November 8th, 2005, and has gone on to become one of the band’s best-selling releases.
The release of Yer Favourites on vinyl is a landmark occasion as it is now certified Diamond (1 million units sold) and has since gone onto 14 X platinum (1.4m units sold in Canada) and half a billion streams. Yer Favourites is only behind The Beatles 1 as the second biggest selling certified compilation ever in Canada.
Yer Favourites will be split into two 2 LP sets, Volume #1. & Volume #2. The tracks for Yer Favourites were originally selected by the band’s fans via their website.
