180-gram vinyl audiophile reissue of Monnette Sudler's highly-collectable 1978 LP 'Brighter Days For You', which fuses highly technical guitar playing with jazz-funk, fusion and contemporary jazz.
Philadelphian guitarist/composer/educator/poet Monnette Sudler recorded this her debut album in 1977 in New York. It showcases Monnette Sudler as dynamic and versatile performer. By that time
she had completed her studies at Berklee College of Music. She later attended Temple University to further her education. She has performed with Kenny Barron, Hamiet Bluiett, Arthur Blythe, Sonny Fortune, Freddie Hubbard, Hugh Masakela, Archie Shepp, Cedar Walton, to mention a few.
Monnette Sudler is the founder and artistic director of the Philadelphia Guitar Summit.
