The second release on Romana finds Magnus Asberg getting an extended remix treatment from Dudley Strangeways on the A side, as "Tape" gets contorted and mutated over 12 minutes for a perfect, hypnagogic trip. The original of "Tape" has its own share of wobbly weirdness going on, but it's framed by a more pronounced beat for livelier moments on the floor. "Porta Rain" keeps the modular tinkering up too, with a wild lead line that will dig right into your grey matter as it wraps itself around another stout groove.
