THE BAND’S DEBUT ALBUM ‘ANTIDOTES’ WILL BE RELEASED ON LIMITED EDITION RECYCLED VINYL
THE SAME DAY AS THE NEW ABUM
Foals also today announce that their debut album ‘Antidotes’ will receive a long-awaited vinyl repress to commemorate the 14th anniversary of its original release. This new, single-run pressing will be manufactured using recycled vinyl records – a process which means that all copies will share a mottled, marbled effect, but that also means that each individual record is unique. ‘Antidotes’ has only previously been available on vinyl following its initial release in 2008, making it an elusive item for collectors.
‘Antidotes’ will also be released on June 17th..
Later this month, Foals will embark upon a UK headline tour that includes a sold-out four-night run at London’s Olympia. Their summer schedule includes a Saturday headline set at Latitude, plus prime billing at Glastonbury and Radio 1’s Big Weekend.
RECENT PRAISE FOR FOALS:
“A dopamine-soaked reimagining of the debauched freedom that we’ve been lacking for too long, ‘Life Is Yours’ makes for one hell of a tonic.” – NME
“‘Wake Me Up’ is the most immediate & bright pop song Foals have put to tape in years.” – Rolling Stone
“Concise and melodic, '2am' bursts with energy, while lyrically it's about pulling away from toxic cycles of behaviour… it's a direct, dynamic return, a song that refuses to pull its punches.”- Clash
“Calls to mind Talking Heads, LCD Soundsystem and Notorious-era Duran Duran.” – Sunday Times Culture
“Foals are back and ready to experiment with different sounds and the result is a feel-good morsel of pure musical escapism.” – Gigwise
