A Certain Frame of Reference is the brand new album from David Luximon, released on heather coloured vinyl
Self- produced, mixed by Oliver Betts (The Duke Spirit), and mastered by Paul McGeechan (Starless), the album is a refection of what it is to uproot and move from the city to the country, whilst walking with someone through personal trauma.
Featuring sumptuous cello and string arrangements by Liz Hanks (Richard Hawley), brass by Terry Edwards (Nick Cave), and pedal steel by Connor Smith (Annie Booth), the album is at times a shimmering nod to the white picket fences of 1950's Americana, via On The Beach era Neil Young, en route to the Perthshire countryside.
A Certain Frame of Reference follows on from Luximon's 2021 album Duty of Care. David Luximon is a multi-instrumentalist and producer from Edinburgh, his music has been featured across radio including BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Scotland and Radio X.
Tracks: I'm Taking You For A Drive / Paper Moon / The Mirror / Heels / Petrichor / Just Say The Word / Requiem For A Dreamer (Or Two) / People Need People Like You / Sowing For Butterfies (Parts 1 & 3) / Dreams & Ribbons
