 As a natural sequel to his first album ‘Les Âmes perdues’, Christophe Panzani - one of most indemand French saxophonists (who notably plays
with drummer Anne Paceo and the bands Hocus Pocus, Thiefs, The Drops) - continues his musical quest.
 In this work, he explores the possibilities of combining the sound of his tenor saxophone with the piano. He uses ancient ways of tuning the piano, thus enlarging the sound spectrum of jazz in a very unusual way. Over a series of duets and trios he questions the origin of musical emotions and surprisingly blurs our familiar landmarks.
 The eight tracks have been recorded over a few months in various places, on different instruments, with an amazing cast of talented pianists, from
ECM-recording artist Yonathan Avishai to the popsinger turned pianist Yael Naim, including NYC wizard BIGYUKI, Eric Legnini (one of the finest
French jazz pianists), Brazilian-born Leonardo Montana and Guillaume Poncelet (a frequent collaborator of Gaël Faye).
