Willie Nelson has been having quite a 90th birthday year! In January a 5 episode career spanning docu-series premiered at Sundance and will find a home and unspool in Q4. In February he won Best Country Album at the Grammys and in March released the studio album I Don’t Know A Thing About Love, the 150th album of his career. In April he had a mammoth 2 night birthday concert celebration at the Hollywood Bowl in LA in late April with Keith Richards, Neil Young, The Chicks, Lumineers, Sheryl Crow, Dave Matthew, Stephe Stills, Norah Jones, Snoop, Chris Stapleton, Beck, Leon Bridges and dozens more. Then earlier this month, his induction to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame was announced which will happen November 3rd in NYC and broadcast on HBO later that month. And he just announced his latest book (his 5th since 2020!) ENERGY FOLLOWS THOUGHT that tells the stories behind all of his songs. He’ll be touring all summer with his Outlaw Festival tour that collects Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, John Fogerty, Avett Brothers, Los Lobos and more.
